STEPHEN CURRY

Wardell Stephen "Steph" Curry II (born March 14, 1988) is an American professionalbasketball player for the Golden State Warriors of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He is considered by some to be the greatest shooter in NBA history. He was named the 2015 NBA Most Valuable Player (MVP) and is a two-timeNBA All-Star. He is the son of former NBA player Dell Curry, and the older brother of current NBA player Seth Curry.

Curry played college basketball for Davidson. There, he was twice named Southern Conference Player of the Year and set the all-time scoring record for both Davidson and the Southern Conference. During his sophomore year, Curry also set the single-season NCAArecord for three-pointers made.

Curry was selected with the seventh overall pick in the 2009 NBA draft by the Golden State Warriors. During the 2012–13 season, he set the NBA record for three-pointers made in a regular season with 272. The following year, Curry and teammate Klay Thompson set the NBA record for combined threes in a season with 484, earning the pair the nickname the "Splash Brothers". In2014–15, Curry eclipsed his own record by knocking down his 273rd three-pointer on April 9, 2015, finishing the regular season with 286. He was named MVP after leading the Warriors to a franchise-record and NBA-best 67 wins on the season. That same year, Curry led the Warriors to their first NBA championship since 1975.

X Games Superstars

Sports in the X Games are always exciting and often dangerous. The games started in 1995 when 500,000 fans travelled to Newport in the USA and whatched sports like BMX, skateboarding and motorcross.

Our programme today looks at two skateboardes who decided to learn to skateboard when they werw very young. They competed in the X Games and became big stars - Tom Schaar, the yongest gold medallist in the history of the games, and Alana Smith,the youngest silver medallist.

Yuri Gagarin

(9 March 1934-27 March 1968) was Russian Soviet pilot and cosmunaut. He was the first human to journey into outer space, when his Vostok spacecraft completed an orbiot of the Earth on 12 April 1961.

Gagarin became an international celebrity, and was awarded manymedals and titles, including Hero of the nation's highest honour. Vostok  1 marked his only spaceflight, but he served as backup crew to the Soyuz 1 mission (which ended in a fatal crash) Gagarin later became deputy training director of the Cosmonaut  Tarining  Centre outside Moscow, which was later named afther him. Gagarin died 1968 when the MİG-15 training jet he was piloting crashed. The Yuri Gagarin Medal awarded in his honor.

Merlin

Merlin is a famous magicin, and there are many wonderful
 stories aout him. He comes fromWales, and he is the only
child of Princess Adhan and prince Meurig.
Merlin has got many magic powers. He can change into
different animals, look into the future, see through walls,and
change the weather.
When Merlin is older, he is a good friend to king Arthur,
and to all the men ofthe Round Table. He helps Arthur tofight
his enemic, and to be a good king. His enemy is the enchentress
Morgana le Fay. At fırst, he loves her, an he teaches her magic.
but soon she uses bad magic on him, and he is very angry with
her.At the end of Merlin's long story, he doesn't die. He goes to
sleep in a magic cave.One day, he must wake from hiss sleep,
and help his country again...

about her. She's from Cornwall in the west of England and she's the dauther of Duke Gorlois of 

Cornwall and his wife, Lady Elaine and Morgause, and she has a later, half brother, too. His name is Arthur, and later, he's the King of Britain.

         Morgana has the power to make ill people well again. She

can make magic potions change into different animals, and fly quickly through the sky. 

        Morgana's friend is Guingamar. He is the King of the Island of Apples. People sometimes call this magic island 'Avalon'.

        Morgana is the enemy of the magician Merlin. For many years, she is angry with her half brother, Arthur, and he is her enemy, too. But in the end, Morgana helps Arthur when he is dying.

Gaziantep

Gaziantep, with the name of old and popular Antep, is a province of Turkey and the eighth most populous city. It has a population of 1,931,836 as of 2016.  It is the first in terms of industry and development in the Southeastern Anatolia Region. Is still one of the oldest cities inhabited. Besides these, Gaziantep also has a very important place in Turkish industry and trade. Among these, Gaziantep is located between Anatolia and the Middle East and it is close to the port cities. Among the symbols of Gaziantep are Gaziantep Castle.

Although there are many springs in Gaziantep, there are no natural lakes. Because of this, artificial lakes and dams were built instead of many in the city. The most important stream of the province is the Euphrates River and its branches. There are very few natural forests in the province of Gaziantep. Only 14% of the existing lands are covered with forest areas. Especially oak and red-leaf trees dominate these forests. Oak forests are all broken and under protection. The majority of the redpox forests are artificial forests. The western and northern sides of the province of Gaziantep are surrounded by forests, steppes and meralar. 60 percent of the province's land is arable. This part is covered with fields, fields, olives, pistachios, fruit and vegetable gardens.
The main mountains in the province are the Nur Mountains and the Sof Mountains in the western part of the province. The plate movement between the Nur and the Sof Mountains is a resultant collapse. The highest mountain in the world is the Great Sof Mountain with a height of 1496 meters. The main plains in the province are Islahiye, Barak and Tilbashar plains.
